Stout Architecture was established in 2013 by Crighton Stout, focusing on custom residential and commercial projects. In March 2020, the firm shifted its attention to larger commercial, multi-family developments, detention facilities, and historic renovations. Creighton began his architectural career in 2000 and gained diverse design experience from working at various architectural firms, enriching his knowledge in construction and design. This expertise has guided the firm's focus on commercial, multi-family, detention, and historic projects. With the opening of the Fort Worth office, Stout Architecture is expanding into the aviation sector and continues to grow by hiring individuals eager to contribute to its development.

Detention Centers and Jails
Stout Architecture recently completed a significant project at the St. Bernard Jail, focusing on multiple critical upgrades designed to enhance both security and functionality. As part of this comprehensive overhaul, they replaced outdated cell slider door operators with state-of-the-art models, ensuring more reliable and secure operation. Additionally, they upgraded the entire intercom system to facilitate clearer communication throughout the facility, thereby improving overall safety and coordination among staff members.
High-security camera systems were also installed, providing enhanced surveillance capabilities that allow for better monitoring of inmate activities and quicker response times to any incidents. This advanced camera network is part of a broader strategy to make the jail environment safer for both inmates and staff.
Furthermore, the security offices in each Pods underwent significant renovations. These upgrades included the installation of modern, ergonomic desks designed to improve the comfort and efficiency of security personnel. New door control systems were also integrated, allowing for more precise and efficient management of cell doors and entry points within the facility.
