Stout Architecture: RSAW Office Renovation: This project replaces the existing single-story office with a new, efficient two-story office and meeting space within the existing metal building footprint. The renovation addresses current staffing and operational needs while converting the former second-floor storage area into functional office space. New exterior punched openings will provide increased natural light, and a second-floor porch will create additional outdoor seating space. The design also addresses the required separation between the F-2 shop occupancy and the business occupancy, incorporating fire barriers within the existing metal building structure. After evaluating multiple construction phasing options, the selected approach minimizes impacts to operations, schedule, and cost by providing temporary access to the shop through the main office and relocating staff to another building on campus during construction.
