What we can deliver
Stout Architecture is a full service architectural firm serving our clients in Louisiana, Texas and Florida. We work closely with our clients in making sure that their needs and budgets are met.
Stout Architectural has the knowledge and expertise to help our clients with their new construction, renovation or adaptive reuse project. We start the design process by evaluating the project site and look for possible limitations as well as opportunities we can take advantage of. Then we work with the clients to come up with a preliminary program that addresses their needs. Then we start to layout the building and the exterior skin. There is a lot of design considerations given to the exterior of the building. This is done so that the building can meet the clients needs well into the future.
Stout Architecture works closely with our residential clients so that we can understand their needs and wants while staying within their budget. We walk our clients thru the design process every step of the way so that everybody clearly understands the layout and design of their new home or major renovation. All of our residential designs are customized to each of our clients.
Stout Architecture starts historic restoration projects by doing a detailed evaluation of the historic building and how it is constructed and causes of possible structural and aesthetic damage. Then we design the restoration to match the construction techniques and materials used in the original construction of the building. This allows for the restoration and repairs to look original to the building.
Stout Architecture works closely with our clients early on in the design process to develop a detailed evaluation of the site looking for views, traffic flows, access to utilities, zoning, site utilization and site specific factors. This information is compiled and then used in the preliminary design is developed so that there is a starting point for the overall master plan. During the development of the master plan budgets are developed based on design decisions so that our clients budgets can be maintained.
After a natural disaster Stout Architecture can assist you in a broad range of services to help in your recovery efforts. We have personnel who are Safety Assessment Program (SAP) Certified to do building evaluations to see if buildings are safe to re-enter as well as to develop damage reports. Damage reports can be given to insurance companies and FEMA to help determine the full scope of damages to a building which will speed up the recovery process.
Stout Architecture has worked with FEMA and State Agencies for over 10 years and can assist Design Professionals with streamlining the required procedures which can minimizing delays.
Stout Architecture also offers expert witness services in litigation matters.
